Cancellation
When an order can be canceled.
Shipped keys
Cancel within 14 days of ordering, provided the work has not been fulfilled, and get a full refund. Fulfilled means the key has been cut and shipped.
If it has already shipped, tell us anyway — an unused key is a conversation we would rather have than a complaint.
Products bought at the kiosk
A fob, battery kit or hide-a-key box comes out of the slot when you pay. The confirm screen shows the item and price first, and you can back out up to that point.
If the kiosk drops the wrong item, that is our error and we make it right.
Electronic keys and fobs
Before a part has been paired to a vehicle the 14-day rule applies as normal. Once paired it generally cannot be returned to stock, so cancellation after that is limited to the part being faulty.
Faulty work
A key that does not turn the lock it was copied from is a defect, not a cancellation question. We re-cut or refund it. This sits alongside your statutory rights rather than replacing them.
How to cancel
The cancellation channel will be published here and on your order confirmation before orders go live.
Common questions
What counts as fulfilled?
Cut and shipped. Up to that point a shipped key can be canceled within 14 days with nothing owed.
What about something bought at the kiosk?
It is handed over on the spot, so the confirm screen is the cancellation point.
Terms on this page
- Shipped fulfillment
- Any other car key, scanned at the kiosk and shipped: 24 hours standard, 48 hours for difficult keys.
- Starting price
- The price shown before the key is confirmed. The kiosk reprices on screen if the blank turns out to differ — before payment, never after.
