Key fobs and remotes
Buy a push-to-start fob at the kiosk and walk away with it. Get it programmed now, with a technician sent right away, or later with your order number.

What the kiosk stocks
Ready-made push-to-start fobs for five of the most common models: Ford (F-150 and other Ford trucks and SUVs), Toyota (Camry, Corolla, RAV4 and others), Nissan (Altima, Rogue), GM (Silverado, Sierra) and Ram 1500. Pay and the fob drops out of the slot. The kiosk also sells fob batteries and hide-a-key boxes.
Option 1: fob plus programming
Pay for the fob and programming together at the kiosk. A technician is sent right away to program it at your car. A technician calls you within 10 minutes.
Option 2: fob only
Take the fob with you. When you are ready, call 877-744-8472 with the order number on your receipt to book programming. Programming is paid separately.
Why does a new fob need programming?
A push-to-start fob has to be paired to your car with professional equipment before it will start the engine. That is done at your car by a technician, not at the kiosk.
Before you replace anything, try the battery
A remote that only works up close is usually a flat coin cell, not a dead remote. Changing the battery does not erase the pairing. The kiosk sells the common sizes in child-resistant packs.
Fob not stocked at the kiosk?
Scan your key at the kiosk and we ship it: 24 hours standard, 48 hours for difficult keys. Programming is then booked as a separate on-site service.

Terms on this page
- Valet key
- A restricted key that opens the doors and starts the car but not the boot or glovebox. Some vehicles also use a separate boot key entirely.
- Transponder
- A passive chip in the key head. The car challenges it and the immobilizer releases the engine only if the answer matches. A perfectly cut key with the wrong chip will turn but not start.
- Immobilizer
- The system that refuses to let the engine run without a recognized key. It is why a car key is a part to be supplied rather than only a pattern to be copied.
- Laser-cut or sidewinder blade
- A thick blade with a winding channel milled into its face instead of teeth along the edge. It needs shop milling equipment, so it is scanned at the kiosk and shipped.
