I need a spare car key. Where do I start?
Start with the key you already have and the vehicle details: make, model and year. Bring the key to a GetKey kiosk or call us on 877-744-8472 and tell us what you drive. We confirm the right key for your car before anything is charged.
I have lost my only car key. Can you help?
Yes, call us. Losing the last key is different from making a spare, because there is no key to start from. We take the vehicle details, tell you what is possible for your car, and arrange the next step with you.
Does a new key need to be paired to my car?
Many modern car keys and fobs carry electronics that the car has to recognize. Whether yours needs pairing depends on the vehicle. We tell you before you pay, so there is no surprise afterwards.
Do you need proof that I own the car?
For car keys we may ask for proof that the vehicle is yours or that you are authorized to use it. It protects you, and it is the reason a stranger cannot order a key to your car.
What details help you get it right first time?
The make, model and year, the key itself if you have it, and a photo of the key if you are calling. The more we know, the faster we can confirm the correct key.
Can you make keys for motorcycles too?
Ask us with the make, model and year. We will tell you plainly whether it is something we can do.
